The modelling of cars, aeroplanes etc is done in the same way as for ships, that is to say fabrication starting with sheet, rod, wire, …. However for animals where the starting point is a wax sculpture (see section on Working with Silver) we have a formal relationship with a sculptor Tim Simmons. He produces the wax after due consultation, and the casting in the chosen metal is finished by Mike.

Although most of the examples shown have been made in bronze they can just as easily be made in silver - or gold.
