A large proportion of the silver pieces we make are to mark an anniversary or a special occasion, e.g. - The lion above was commissioned by The Earl of Arundel for presentation to The Duke of Norfolk on his 86th birthday. The lion and the horse are the heraldic animals of the Norfolk family and the animal is presented in an appropriately stylised manner standing on the Cap of Maintenance. The rowing eight shown under Motor and Sports boats was a twenty fifth wedding anniversary present from a lady to her husband as they had two daughters rowing on the Thames. In a light hearted mood Mike produced the 'tin of sardines' - actually the silver fish are balloon weights - as a suggested ten year, i.e. "Tin", wedding anniversary present for an exhibition 'Love Story' at The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, London.
