The two major assets of modest sized motor cruisers must be their speed and ease of living aboard. It would be difficult to depict the latter in a model but certainly the former is amenable.

Speed is very evident in the model shown here - Gordon’s current boat - which won first prize in The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths’ annual awards for modelling in 1993.
